Our Statement on Pluralism, Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity

Yarnell Consultation, LLC values the intersecting identities of all, and affirms the contributions of diverse identities to the vitality of our lived human experience and continued growth of understanding. Pluralism is premised on meaningful differences as a foundation. It entails a diverse society willing to affirm each other’s dignity, benefit from each other’s experience, and acknowledge each other’s contribution to the common welfare and progress for all. Yarnell Consultation holds pluralism as a foundation for all services we provide. We embrace and engage with the different cultures, races, ethnicities, nationalities, religions, genders, sexual orientations, languages, ages, socioeconomic status, abilities, family compositions, educations, veteran status, and careers of all.

Yarnell Consultation is committed to providing an affirming environment for all, and committed to helping establish safe, supportive, and brave spaces alongside the organizations served. We take a culturally humble approach to service provision, and recognize you as the expert of your lived experiences. In individual work, Dr. Jordy strives to establish a relationship where the importance of intersectional identities are explored alongside experiences and questions in our work together.

Yarnell Consultation works closely with the organizations it serves to encourage cultural awareness, increase knowledge, and develop skills related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This work is done alongside our own independent work to further our understanding of cultures and communities. We invite individuals and institutions alike to collaborate on social justice and advocacy work.
